Our story starts on Irish family farms, where heritage-breed cattle graze freely on grass pastures cared for without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. We hand-render grass-fed tallow in small batches, following traditional methods passed down through generations. Each balm is then carefully blended with raw honey, olive oil, jojoba oil, and beeswax. A time-honoured combination known to nourish and protect the skin naturally.

Why We Go Back to Basics

Modern skincare often relies on complex formulas and synthetic additives. At Holistic Heritage, we take a simpler path, one rooted in time-tested, natural ingredients that work in harmony with the skin.

At the centre of our balm is grass-fed tallow, a traditional ingredient once widely used for skincare because of its rich, nourishing composition. Its fatty acid profile is similar to the skin’s own natural oils, allowing it to absorb smoothly and help maintain the skin’s natural balance.

Our tallow is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K - nutrients that support the skin’s soft, healthy-looking appearance. These vitamins occur in animal fats in a form the skin can easily take in, contributing to a smooth and supple feel.

Each balm is handcrafted in small batches using gentle, low-heat methods to protect the natural qualities of every ingredient. Blended with raw honey, olive oil, jojoba oil, and beeswax, it reflects our belief that real nourishment comes from nature - no fillers, no synthetics, and no shortcuts.

What Goes In Matters

We keep our ingredient list short, purposeful, and honest — every component is chosen for quality and compatibility with the skin.

Our organic, grass-fed Irish suet yields pure tallow that closely resembles the skin’s own natural oils. Organic cold-pressed olive oil from Spain and organic cold-pressed jojoba oil provide light, antioxidant-rich moisture without clogging pores. Organic raw honey helps comfort and hydrate the skin, while organic beeswax forms a breathable barrier that helps retain moisture.

Each balm is finished with a carefully balanced blend of organic essential oils for a naturally clean aroma and added botanical care.
