Holistic Heritage currently ships our handmade skincare balms from Dublin, Ireland to the following locations:
Republic of Ireland
Northern Ireland
Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales)
European Union
United States of America
Canada
If your country or region is not listed above, please reach out to us. We are a growing brand and hope to expand our shipping destinations in the future.
Processing Time
All orders are typically prepared and dispatched within 1-2 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays) from the date of purchase. Our products are handcrafted in small batches, so this processing time allows us to ensure quality and freshness. We ship from Dublin using eco‑friendly, recyclable packaging materials, and we avoid plastic in our shipping boxes and mailers to minimise waste. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.
(Please note: During peak periods or holidays, processing might extend by a day or two, but we always strive to send out your parcel as quickly as possible.)
Shipping Options
All orders are shipped tracked from Dublin, Ireland via An Post, Ireland’s national postal service. At checkout, you will be able to choose from three shipping methods based on your needs:
Tracked Shipping: Your parcel will be shipped with tracking, allowing you to follow its progress online. This option provides peace of mind with end-to-end visibility.
Express Tracked Shipping: The fastest option for urgent orders. We use An Post’s express service (or its courier partners) for expedited delivery. This service includes tracking and prioritised handling. Express shipping comes at a premium cost but significantly shortens delivery times.
Regardless of the shipping method chosen, we handle every order with care. We use sturdy, sustainable packaging to protect your items in transit. All materials are recyclable and plastic-free to align with our eco-conscious values.
Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery times will vary based on destination and the shipping method selected. The estimates below are after your order has been dispatched (not including the 1-2 day processing time):
Republic of Ireland: Typically next working day for delivery after dispatch.
Northern Ireland: Usually around 1-2 working days after dispatch.
Great Britain (UK): Usually 3-5 working days after dispatch.
European Union (EU): Usually 3-9 working days after dispatch
United States: Approximately 4-7 working days after dispatch via standard post, depending on customs and local delivery.
Canada: Approximately 4-7 working days after dispatch via standard post, depending on customs and local delivery.
Note: Express Tracked shipping can significantly reduce transit times. Express parcels to Great Britain often arrive in about 1-2 working days, while express shipments to the USA/Canada typically arrive in about 4-5 working days. Keep in mind that delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays can occasionally occur, especially during public holidays or due to customs processing. We will do our best to inform you of any unusual delays.
Shipping Costs
We strive to keep shipping costs fair and transparent. Our shipping rates are weight-based and are automatically calculated through our system at checkout, so you’ll see the exact shipping charge before you place your order. Below are our shipping cost policies:
Free Shipping (Republic of Ireland): We offer free tracked shipping on all orders of €50 or more within ROI. If your order subtotal reaches €50, the free shipping option will automatically apply at checkout, delivery won’t cost you a cent beyond that threshold. (This free shipping offer applies only to deliveries within the Republic of Ireland.)
Calculated Rates (Weight-Based): For orders under €50 in ROI, and for all orders to Northern Ireland, Great Britain, European Union, USA, and Canada, the shipping charge is determined by the weight of the package, the destination and the chosen shipping option. This rate will be shown clearly at checkout before you confirm payment. We do not add any extra handling fees or markups to these rates, you pay exactly what it costs us to ship via our trusted carrier. In other words, we charge you the postal rate we incur, using An Post’s standard pricing.
Note: If you are eligible for local delivery (see the Local Delivery section below), no shipping charges will apply.
Customs and Duties
For international orders shipping outside of Ireland (for example, to Great Britain, the USA, or Canada), please be aware that your shipment may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, or taxes upon arrival in your country. Any such customs fees or import taxes are the responsibility of the customer. We have no control over these government-imposed charges and cannot predict what they may be, as they vary by country and by order value.
Here are some important points regarding customs and duties:
Customs Clearance: International shipments will include the necessary customs documentation (we complete all required forms on our side). Occasionally, a package can be held by your country’s customs agency for inspection, which might delay delivery.
Import Fees: If any import duties or VAT/GST are assessed by your country, the courier or postal service will typically require payment from you (the recipient) before or upon delivery. These fees are not included in our product or shipping prices.
Customer Responsibility: By placing an order to be delivered outside the EU, you agree to pay any applicable customs duties and taxes. If you’re unsure about potential fees, we recommend checking your country’s import guidelines so there are no surprises.
We will do what we can to facilitate smooth customs processing (for instance, providing detailed and accurate customs forms). However, we cannot reimburse customers for any import taxes or fees. If you refuse a shipment due to customs fees, the parcel may be returned to us; in such cases, any return shipping costs or fees charged to us will be deducted from your refund (if the order is returned in sellable condition). We encourage international customers to familiarize themselves with their country’s import rules to avoid unexpected charges.
Tracking
For Tracked and Express shipments, you will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order has been dispatched. This tracking number allows you to follow your parcel’s journey online, so you can see when it’s out for delivery or if there are any delays en route. We typically use An Post’s tracking system (which will also link with your national postal service or courier once the package is in your country). You can enter the tracking number on the An Post website (or the provided link in your email) to get the latest status of your delivery.

We’re here to help resolve shipping issues and can assist in contacting An Post or advising on next steps. Our goal is for your order to reach you smoothly, and we will support you in that process.
Local Delivery (Dublin Area)
For customers located within our local delivery radius in Dublin, we offer a complimentary local delivery service. This means if your shipping address is in our defined local area (a very limited radius near our base), you will see a Free Local Delivery option at checkout. If this option appears for you, you can select it to have your order delivered by us directly, rather than by post. Here’s how our local delivery works:
Eligibility: The local delivery radius is limited to certain Dublin neighbourhoods close to our operation. Eligibility is determined automatically by your shipping postcode/address at checkout. If your address qualifies, the free local delivery option will be available.
Cost: Local delivery is free of charge, no matter your order value. This is a small way for us to thank our nearby community and reduce shipping waste for local orders.
Timing: We aim to deliver local orders promptly. In many cases, local deliveries are fulfilled within 1–3 working days after your order is prepared (often sooner). We’ll notify you (via email or text) when your package is out for local delivery.
Delivery Method: One of our team members will hand-deliver your package to the address provided. If you have any specific instructions for delivery (e.g., a safe place to leave the parcel), you can let us know when ordering or by replying to your order confirmation email. We’ll do our best to accommodate.
Local delivery is eco-friendly and personal, there’s no packaging waste from long-distance transport, and it allows us to ensure your product reaches you in perfect condition. If for any reason we cannot complete a local hand-delivery (e.g., your address is just outside our range), we will ship your order with An Post instead (and standard shipping rates will apply). We will contact you if any changes are necessary.
Missed or Failed Deliveries
We understand that sometimes you might not be home to receive a delivery. Here’s what to expect and do if a delivery attempt is missed, or if there are issues with delivery:
An Post Deliveries: If you are not available when An Post attempts delivery, the postal carrier will typically leave a “missed delivery” notice (often a form or card saying “Sorry we missed you”). This notice will have instructions on how to retrieve your parcel. Usually, you may either:
Schedule a re-delivery on a day you’ll be available, or collect the parcel from your local post office or sorting office (the notice will tell you the location) within a certain time frame (usually within 5–7 working days).
Please follow the instructions on the An Post notice promptly to avoid the parcel being returned to us. If you do not collect your package in time, An Post will send it back to our return address.
Local Deliveries: For local hand-deliveries in Dublin, we will coordinate with you to find a suitable time. If we attempt a local delivery and cannot complete it (e.g. no safe place to leave the item and no one home), we will get in touch to rearrange delivery at a convenient time.
Incorrect Address or Delivery Failure: Please double-check that your shipping address is correct at the time of order. We cannot be responsible for parcels that are undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided. If a package is returned to us because the address was incorrect or the parcel was unclaimed, we will contact you to confirm the address and arrange a re-shipment. Additional shipping fees may apply for re-delivery in such cases, especially if the mistake was not on our part.
Stolen or Lost Packages: It’s rare, but if tracking shows an item as delivered and you have not received it, first check with others in your household or building (or with neighbours) to see if it was received on your behalf. If it’s still missing, contact us and we will work with you to investigate the issue. For non-tracked packages, unfortunately our ability to locate the parcel is limited. We will do our best to find a solution on a case-by-case basis.
Our aim is to get your Holistic Heritage products to you safely. If a delivery problem occurs, we’ll assist in resolving it. Please keep an eye on your tracking information (if applicable) and communications from An Post. And as always, you can reach out to us for support.
